Why else would "Change" resonate so well with Obama's presidential campaign?

I do not entirely agree with you in regarding to who the single most influential person to help elect Obama the President of the USA was. I strongly agree that George W. Bush is certainly the worst present America has ever had. Oh, no doubts about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His insistence in spending US money on a war that has been devastating so many lives is the most insane decision one has ever made in the name of “power”. While American citizens lose their properties, banks close their doors, companies fire employees, and so on, Bush continues investing on this nonsense war just because he thinks it is the best thing to do. So many of Bush’s irreparable mistakes definitely helped whoever was running for President of the United States sounds like the best candidate.

In my view many factors and people helped Barack Obama to win this election and become The President of the United States. First, I attribute his victory to God – who has the control over all the things under the heavens; second, I attribute his victory to himself. With the help of his advisors, and why not to say, his family, he knew how to present his viewpoints in a straightforward way, and addressed the issues that need to be resolved in America, instead of focusing on little things about McCain’s life; third, I attribute his victory to people – who trusted that he has been the best option among all candidates since the first beginning. There are many other reasons I believe helped Obama to win this election, but these are the main ones I wanted to address.
